Are there barrier-free bathrooms?

Yes, barrier-free bathrooms are located on both halves of the campsite. You can pick up a key for the duration of your stay at the registration desk (deposit 20.00 €).

How do I get to Burg/the city?

There is a citizens’ bus to Burg three times a day during the season. The bus stop is at the roundabout, where the timetable is also posted. There is also a ride-sharing bench. If you have missed everything, we can order you a taxi into town.

Is there WiFi and cable connection?

There is no cable connection directly at the site. However, our WLAN is free of charge! Choose the network: Camping Strukkamphuk Gast – no registration/access code is required.

Are dogs allowed on the site?

Yes, dogs are welcome. There is a dog beach and dog showers in washhouse 1 and washhouse 4. In general, leashes are compulsory on the entire grounds. Please put a dog tag with a mobile phone number on your dog in case it runs away.

How do washing machine and dryer work?

Washing machines and tumble dryers are located in three of the wash houses. You can get washing tokens at the registration desk. Please note: There are different tokens for washing machines and dryers.

Where is kitesurfing and surfing allowed?

There is a kite zone, a surf zone and a bathing zone. Please respect that kiting and surfing is absolutely forbidden in the bathing zone.

How does the electricity work?

Only Euro plugs can be used for the power connection. You can borrow these for a 20.00 Euro deposit at the registration desk. The power connection is fused with max. 16A.

Do I have to pay tourist tax?

Yes, the visitor’s tax/Baltic Sea card is to be paid on arrival in the registration.

How do I put up my caravan/tent?

For fire safety reasons we ask you to place your caravan/tent in such a way that there is a distance of at least 3 meters between each unit (everyone stays 1.50 m away from all boundaries).

Do visitors have to be registered?

Yes. Thank you for registering visitors. Please register day visitors before entering the site. Overnight guests are only allowed on the site by prior arrangement.

Where do I empty my chemical toilet?

You will find chemical toilet disposal stations at wash houses 1, 2 and 4 as well as an automatic cleaning “Camper Clean” at the waste disposal site (1€).

Where can I get gas bottles?

5 and 11 kilo bottles at the Strandmarkt Strukkamp for exchange, aluminium bottles are filled at Johannsen in Burgstaaken.
